The Wonder Of Christmas
T'was the night before Christmas
Christ's spirit alive
the children were sleeping
when Santa arrived
Wrapped in their blankies
all cuddly 'n warm
dreaming of reindeer
on the front lawn
Morning brought sunshine
'n lots of surprise
giggles and laughter
a glee in their eyes
There 'neath the tree
were presents galore
stockings were filled
for each to explore
A teddy for Karen
toy soldier for Tim
rocking horse watchful
waiting for Jim
Snow starting falling
made blankets of white
wonder, excitement
smiles shown ever bright
A day filled with magic
when wishes come true
Merry Christmas to all
'n warm Blessings too
May you feel the spirit of Christmas!
