"Collectable Dreams"

Time, then time, then time some more
To tinker, polish, shine
Collecting dreams now by the score
With each available dime

Lick and polish, gather, acquire
Stand back to smile, and then
Glow with pride in all that's done
To share with every friend

Flick, then dust, then oil some more
Until mirrored for a face
Line them all, and rev 'em high
Each dream within it's place

Build bigger sheds, move garden beds
To be dry in any weather
On days the sun will brightly shine
Drive out, to view together

Drive on, oh moving dream, oh gripped
Swept up unto the heart
Enchantment, glory, rustic grate
What joy to thus impart....

Oh, gather of each soul, Dear Lord
Of what to You to bring
From time e'er time that's passing by
Spent in a cherished dream

And then of life to what is given
What shall be truly had
How of the lasting known to keep
To make forever glad

If heaven of truth, the goal to seek
Then where spend lasting love
What draw a dreaming heart of earth
To want to go above

Oh, question, drive it deep within
What most in life to want
When time is up, God's call is come
What e'er be number One

Soft Whispers just for you from
