As I awoke this morning
you were on my mind
so I'm sending morning wishes
of the bestest kind

While sipping fresh brewed coffee
daydreaming comes alive
pretending we're together
sitting side by side

Chatting 'cross the table
about things old and new
laughing, being silly
like we always do

Giggling just like children
having so much fun
memory banks wide open
forgetting not a one

But, since we're not together
the miles have come between
cyber hugs and kisses
I'm sending you, my friend

Try to keep on smiling
and I will do the same
tonight when I am sleeping
I'll dream of you again

Remember that I love you
our friendship, very dear
tears fall in my coffee
wishing you were here
