Thank you Lord for answering my prayers,
For sending my sweet Daddy home,
I have missed him oh so much,
Me and Mommy were so alone.
Now he is coming back to us,
Our hearts are so happy you see,
I sure do need my Daddy home,
He really loves Mommy and me.
I am waiting for the plane to land,
I am so excited, like butterflies inside,
My heart is like the ocean waves,
Rushing with the highest tides.
Mommy has tears in her eyes,
She says they are happy tears,
You have taken care of my Daddy,
We can live without certain fears.
I just want to thank you dear Jesus,
For always being such a big part,
Of me, Mommy and Daddy's lives,
And for the joy I feel in my little heart.
