THANK YOU NOBLE VETERANS

Our nation has many heroes,

Some we’ve never heard about,

But God knows each and every one of you,

Of that there is no doubt.

You may not feel like heroes

But in our eyes you are.

You left home and loved ones,

Some staying close and some traveling afar.

Some of you were mangled and torn

As you valiantly fought for the right.

Others of you escaped the turmoil of war

But if necessary you were willing to fight.

You stepped forth to protect freedom

Whether ours or our allies so dear.

Many of you have gone to your Heavenly reward,

Others, happily, are still around to hear.

Thank you noble veterans

For so bravely doing your part.

May God bless you or your memory

Is a prayer from our nation’s heart.
